Art Bra® Austin
Art Bra® Austin is the Breast Cancer Resource Center’s signature fundraiser and is one of Austin’s most unique events – a place where art, design, fashion, transformation and empowerment meet! There’s absolutely nothing else like it. It’s a night that you’ll never forget!
Art Bra® Austin is a juried art/design competition. Every year, Austin's talented community of artists, designers, and jewelers submit their original works of wearable art to be showcased by a dynamic group of Art Bra® Austin Models - all breast cancer survivors and clients of BCRC. This feisty group of BCRC clients reflect the diversity of the thousands of women we serve annually.
Approximately 40-50 pieces are selected from over 100 submissions to be offered for auction the night of the event. Selected submissions are auctioned live during the runway show with previous winning bids as high as $14,500 for these one-of-a-kind creations.
For most, Art Bra® Austin is a transformative experience. The unique event is a tribute to women’s courage, strength, and tenacity and the result is a triumphant show featuring light, color, fabulous designs, and most important of all – a spotlight on the women who benefit from our services.

Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC)
Over the years, treatment for breast cancer has gotten more sophisticated. It’s also gotten much more complex. The Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) is a nonprofit organization who for twenty-three years, has been helping Central Texans whose lives have been upended and forever changed by breast cancer. The BCRC provides practical guidance, education, assistance, access to needed resources and a community of support found nowhere else.
Staffed by breast cancer survivors, BCRC Patient Navigators help each client find their footing and determine the solutions that are right for them. Whatever the circumstances, BCRC provides all services and programs – free of charge – to anyone affected by breast cancer regardless of income, ethnicity, education, sexual orientation, or social support.
With every act and for every client, BCRC strives to embody understanding, preserve dignity, and always see the person NOT just the disease. We believe no one should face breast cancer alone.
