What doctors don't mention when you ring the bell upon completing treatment for breast cancer is that you now have to pick up a planet and haul it around with you for the rest of your life.
That's where BCRC comes in. In addition to excellent support at diagnosis and during treatment, they provide resources, like the After Breast Cancer Class that I took earlier this year, that help make the lifelong challenge of survivorship a little less heavy. In just a few months, they've helped me navigate a darkness I thought I'd never get through. A gift to them is a gift to me.
Please give as generously as you can. Thank you!
